This fall family session in early November in Colorado Springs brought together three generations for a one-hour shoot. We captured the full group along with grandparents and grandchildren, individual families, couples, siblings, and portraits of each child — creating a gallery that honors every relationship and the story of the family as a whole.

With a denim-and-diamonds theme in mind, I selected the sparkling U.S. Olympic Museum in downtown Colorado Springs as the perfect backdrop for this family session. Since this family traveled all the way from Wyoming, I made sure to include a classic Garden of the Gods shot to give them a truly iconic Colorado experience.

Celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary, these parents were gifted an extended family portrait session with their two adult sons, daughter-in-love, and two teenage grandsons. We spent a joyful September evening capturing their laughter, connection, and playful moments together at Fox Run Park in Black Forest.

Makenzie and Alex chose to celebrate five years of marriage with an anniversary session in Estes Park, Colorado. We photographed in Rocky Mountain National Park, reflecting on their first years of marriage and the hopes they carry for the future. With a few outfit changes and sweeping mountain views, we continued shooting until dusk, much of the evening unfolding high above the clouds.

This extended family session celebrated their parents’ 40th wedding anniversary and brought together 22 family members from across the state. In addition to full-family portraits, we photographed each individual family unit, the original siblings, cousins together, grandparents with grandchildren, and individual portraits of every grandchild.
